Our new innovative systemised version of traditional tube & fitting - ‘iTub3’.

The high-yield light-weight steel (also available in aluminium) systemised Tube and fitting featuring markings at regular centres, eliminating the requirement for levelling and measuring.

Adopting benefits from both System Scaffold and the flexibility of Tube and Fitting.

What is iTub3?

Removing the requirement of spigots or sleeves makes erecting faster while reducing the need to transport additional splicing couplers.
With a permissible tensile capacity in the joints of 55 kN, there is no longer need to splice tube connections!
This type of connection is not unique, however, we’ve incorporated the option to lock the joint with a simple pin for use as and when required.

System scaffold is known for it’s speed on site and poor storage/transport between projects.
Is known for its slow construction, easy transport and flexibility.
Can be used unlike the majority of System scaffolding.

Reference points

A series of regular permanent reference markings at 250mm c/c.

Regular markings are guidelines and all iTub3 can be used as regular tube & fitting.
As all markings are aligned, couplers can be placed before erecting and rarely require adjustment.
Similar to alignment, Guardrails can be preinstalled improving safety during construction.

Storage/Transport

Superior storage compared to System.

Anyone with experience using System will know how poorly it stacks. With iTube you can expect approximately x2.5 density when comparing to ring lock standards!
iTube can be slid out of stillages similar to tube and fitting.
iTube can be stacked inline unlike System reducing accidents from tubes sticking out during mechanical handling.

Manual handling

iTub3 feels exactly like Tube & fitting and removes the frustrations of System. Material can be held closer to the body reducing injury.
This is a primary skill for scaffolders, and finding the pivot point is identical to Tube & fitting. No more rosettes or lugs getting in the way!
Are the causes of most manual handling injuries. These are greatly reduced with iTube compared with System as rosettes or lugs cannot get caught allowing tube to slide.

iTub3 can be used alongside existing tube stock unlike system.
Infinite height adjustability just like Tube and fitting while removing the need to measure beyond the first lift.
With reference point spacing at 250mm c/c, it’s easy for less experienced scaffolders to make adjustments.
